Rennes

The capital of Brittany, with a population of over 200,000, Rennes is both an ancient and modern city. The centre has both medieval and classical 18th century buildings together with interesting examples of modern architecture.

The first links between the universities of Exeter and Rennes date back to the early 50s and in 2006 we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Exeter - Rennes Twinning Charter.
